International Friendly
Thailand v Jordan (Thurs)
Thailand take on Jordan in a friendly warm-up match as preparation for Saudi Arabia next Tuesday. The expected line-up according to Siamsport is: Sivaruck, Suree, Nataporn, Niweat, Teeratorn, Suchao, Surat, Rangsan, Piyaphol, Sarayoot and Chatree.
World Cup Qualification Round 3 - Group D
Thailand v Saudi Arabia (Tues)
Australia v Oman (Tues)
Frank Rikjaard brings his Saudi team to the Rajamangala Stadium next Tuesday. The Saudis have only collected 1 point from their first 2 games, and will need at least a draw if the wish to maintain their qualifying hopes for Brazil 2014. Thailand will go into this one feeling confident after their impressive 3-0 win over Oman last month. A win for Thailand would leave them in a great position to progress to the next round. On the same day, Australia host Oman. The Thais will be hoping that this one goes to plan and the Socceroos collect 3 points.
TPL
Siam Navy v Sisaket (Sat)
Samut Songkhram v Sriracha (Sun)
Two TPL games have been rearranged for this weekend. No Bangkok sides feature, but I'm sure TOT, Thai Port and Army Utd will be keeping a close eye on both matches as it will affect the relegation positions.
For me the international weekend, is always rather boring. It's made even worse now with the insistence of playing matches on Friday and Tuesday. As I've got free time this weekend, I'm considering making the 90 km journey to take in Samut Songkhram v Sriracha.
I'll take Siamsport's expected line up with a pinch of salt from now on. Only 5 of their predicted line up actually started!
