Weekend Round-up 25/26 June

Muangthong Utd 1-0 Sisaket

Muangthong Utd and Chonburi kept their slim title chances alive with victories over mid-table opposition. One goal was enough for MTU as they kept another clean sheet, while Chonburi became they first team this season to leave the Royal Thai Army Stadium with 3 points.

Air Force came from behind to beat Bangkok FC 2-1. That victory lifts the Airmen above Bangkok in the league table.Songkla earned a decent point at Phuket yet it wasn't enough to move them into third place above Bangkok United. JW lost for the third time in a week losing 1-0 at home to PTT Rayong.

North Bangkok v Thai Fleet (Playing Monday)

Kasetsart are now top of the league after their impressive 4-1 victory at NSRU. They moved one point ahead of Raj Vithi who were held 1-1 at Nontaburi. North Bangkok could go top tonight if they can beat Thai Fleet by more than 2 goals. Kasem Bundit were releaved to finally win an away match after 8 consecutive defeats. They beat Thanyaburi Asia 4-2.

Buriram FC 2-0 Chainat (AET)

In a quiet match at Thunder Castle, there were 5 sending offs, 1 disallowed goal, 1 penalty and an all out brawl as Buriram FC booked their place in the last 32. Their tie in the next round is bound to be much more peaceful as they'll face their 'big brother' Buriram PEA.

  1. North Bangkok FC were surprisingly held to a 0-0 draw by Thai Fleet on Monday evening. They remain in 3rd place.
