Sunday 16 March Review

TPL

Osotspa 1-2 Bangkok Utd
Samut Songkhram 0-1 PTT Rayong
Singh Tarua 2-1 Chiang Rai Utd
Air Force 1-1 Songkhla Utd

Singh Tarua jumped up to third in the table after they beat Chiang Rai United 2-1. Leandro Assumpcao gave CRU the lead but two goals from Leandro Luz swung the tie in the Khlong Toei side's favor.

The Rajamangala has been an unlucky venue for Osotspa. They lost 1-0 to Singh Tarua last weekend and yesterday Bangkok United claimed their first points with a 2-1 victory over Osotspa.

PTT Rayong got their first win with a 1-0 at Samut Songkhram while Air Force and Songkhla are still searching for their first three points after a 1-1 draw at the Thupathemi yesterday.

Division 1

Saraburi 2-2 Khon Kaen
Phitsanulok 2-2 BBCU
Siam Navy 1-0 Sriracha
Trat 1-0 Nakhon Pathom Utd
Nakhon Ratchasima 2-2 Chiang Rai Utd
Phuket 0-0 TTM

Saraburi spurned the chance to return to the top of the table when they threw away a 2-0 lead at home to Khon Kaen. Nitipong's double had Saraburi in cruise control but late goals via Recio and Li Xiang saw Khon Kaen come back to claim an unexpected point.

It was also 2-2 between fellow promotion contenders Nakhon Ratchasima and Chiang Mai. Korat managed to fight back for a point despite being a man down.

Phitsanulok came back twice to earn a 2-2 against BBCU while Trat and Siam Navy earned 1-0 wins.

Phuket and TTM could not be separated in their 0-0 draw.

* I had typed up a review with a lot more detail but it never saved for some reason. I've got no energy to retype it.
