Ang Thong 2-1 Luk Tapfah Pathum Thani Utd

Ang Thong beat Luk Tapfah Pathum Thani United 2- 1 to keep their bid for a place in the Division 2 playoffs alive.

The home side had the best of the opening exchanges and they took the lead after 30 minutes when a corner from Thana was headed home by Abou.

It had been a niggly contest and it threatened to boil over before the break, but thankfully it never really kicked off.

Ang Thong were a lick of paint away from doubling their lead on the hour when Thana’s curling free kick hit the post with the Luk Tapfah keeper well beaten.

Darkness on the Edge of Town
On 65 minutes the stadium was pitched into darkness as somebody forgot to put money into the floodlight meter box.

After 30 minutes, the match resumed with the away side pressing for an equalizer.

That came 15 minutes from time when Rachan struck from outside the area to level.

With the end of 90 minutes approaching, Nobu Takahashi netted from close in to win it for the Golden Warriors.
