Midweek Preview 17th October

TPL
Wuachon Utd v Chonburi
BBCU v Muangthong Utd

With league title and runner's up spot already sewn up, Muangthong United and Chonburi can take their foot off the gas for their away trips this Wednesday. BBCU can still mathematically stay up if they win their remaining three games and Chainat and Thai Port lose their last two. Anything other than a victory over the TPL champions would see BBCU join TTM in the first division next term.Wuachon will be missing several first team regulars due to them being farmed out from the stable of their guests.

Toyota League Cup - Semi Final 2nd Leg
TOT (0) v (1) Ratchaburi
Buriram Utd (3) v (2) Bangkok Glass

Ekwalla Herman's late controversial penalty established a 3-2 first leg lead for Buriram United over Bangkok Glass. The Countryside Champions (wikipedia) are now in a strong position to book their third successive Toyota Cup final appearance. Bangkok Glass have it in their locker to produce a one off win in Buriram, but whether they can win by two goals remains to be seen.
In the other tie, TOT need to overcome a 1-0 first leg deficit against Ratchaburi. It's a close game to call and I feel the scorer of the first goal will be vital to the outcome.
