Muangthong United brushed aside a very disappointing Bangkok Glass 6-2. The Glass Rabbits will want to quickly forget this game as on the night they got their formation wrong, were constantly overrun in midfield, and defended like schoolboys for several of the MTU goals. The home side's goals came from a Teerasil hat-trick, a goal each for Piyapol and Anon, plus an own goal from Peter Lang. BG's consolation goals came from Amart and Chatree.

A few miles up the road, Police Utd were leading Buriram PEA 2-1 early in the second half. However, there was no upset here as the table toppers fought back to win 3-2.

Two first half goals from Chonburi were enough to see off Osotspa Saraburi. The away side must rue missing some good chances in the first half. The Sharks goalscorers were Artit an Pipob.
