FA Cup (Round 3)
Army Utd v Buriram FC (Wed)
Last season the Army knocked out Buriram PEA in the quarter finals of the FA Cup. That game was marred with a massive on field punch-up between both sets of players. The reason I mention this is because several of those PEA players are now players for their neighbors, Buriram FC. Let's hope that this fixture doesn't drag up any old grudges. It should be a close contest and may well have to be settled by a penalty shoot-out.
Toyota League Cup 1/4 Finals (1st Leg)
Pattalung v FC Phuket (Wed)
Chiang Rai v Thai Port (Wed)
Chonburi v Muangthong (Wed)
Buriram PEA v BEC Tero (Thu)
These are all first leg ties. The Chonburi clash against Muangthong is the most appealing match-up although I'm sure both sides could have done without the extra double header at this stage of the season. BEC Tero and Thai Port both face difficult first legs away from home and will be hoping that they can keep the scores respectable for the return legs in Bangkok. The other clash is an all southern affair between Pattalung and FC Phuket.
