Toyota League Cup 2011

The Toyota League Cup qualifying round will be played tomorrow. This only involves Division 2 teams and the ties will be one leg only.

The draw for the Bangkok region is:

Bkk Christian v Thai Fleet
Samut Prakarn Utd v Kasem Bundit
Nontaburi v Globex
Maptaput Marine v Thai Air Luk Issan

The Toyota League Cup was introduced halfway through last season. It received a mixed reaction as the two legged ties caused massive fixture congestion towards the end of last season.
In my opinion, it's a good trophy to win. Last season's winners, Thai Port, received 5million Baht for winning it. In comparrison, Chonburi only banked 1 million Baht for lifting the FA Cup.
