The first 70 minutes of this game were devoid of any reportable action.
A double mistake in the 71st minute eventually brought the game to life. Suriya's short back pass left Weera in trouble and the keeper's week attempt to clear was pounced on by Tanakorn who then rolled the ball into a vacant net.
Bas Savage had been given a roving roll for TOT and in the 78th minute a cross from the right flank from the Englishman was clinically headed home by Kawamura to make it 1-1.
On this evidence it's going to be a long season for both clubs. Army were ragged and they lack creativity in the final third. They need to get Jerkovic back fit and firing in goals. TOT are well organized defensively but again they have nothing upfront. I can't see them scoring many goals this season.
