All matches are one off games and must be concluded on the day. Extra time
and then penalties will be used if the sides cannot be separated. There are no replays.
The matches at the stadiums that don't have floodlights will start at 15.30. If
these ties need extra time and penalties, the 3.30pm start should allow
enough daylight for them to be put to bed.
Last season, Bangkok Glass, Pattaya Utd, Bangkok Utd, TOT and Sisaket of the TPL all fell to
lower league opposition in the first round. Singh Tarua, who were in Division 1 at the time, also bowed out losing to Udon Thani of the regional league.
I expect most of the TPL sides will rotate their squads so expect to see many fringe players in the starting line-ups this weekend.
