Prachinburi United 0-2 Ratchaburi

10 man Ratchaburi beat 9 man Prachinburi United 2-0 to advance to the last 32 of the Toyota League Cup. The match will mainly be remembered for a punch up which erupted midway through the first half, and the subsequent 20 minute walk off by Prachinburi.

The start of the game was a tepid run off the mill cup encounter in the baking March sun. With temperatures soaring off the pitch, tempers were set to follow suit on it when Prachinburi's #26 received his second yellow card on 18 minutes.
Start of the brawl

The referee was right to dismiss the Prachinburi player, but shortly afterwards, an altercation between Banleuasak and Sakchay escalated into a mass brawl involving both sets of players.

The match official red carded both instigators which then prompted Prachinburi to stage a walkoff while the bickering parties on both sides continued to puff their chests out for 20 minutes.

Once play was resumed, Ratchaburi went close on three occasions from corners as the first half finished with only 10 extra minutes awarded for the 20 minute delay.

Prachinburi came close to scoring on the hour when slack play from Eduardo Ferreira let in Serge who hit the base of the post with his shot.

That was to be the Black Tiger's best effort, and five minutes later Panupong glanced home a corner to give the Dragons the lead.

1-0 Rat-ri
From then on there only looked like one winner, and on 73 minutes Farid Matsoh nonchalantly curled a side footer home from outside the box to win the tie.
