Weekend Review 3-4 March

Div 2 BKK
North Bangkok 2-1 Globex
Central Lions 0-0 Nontaburi
Customs Utd 0-1 Samut Prakarn United
Chamchuri 2-1 Thai Honda
Kasetsart 2-1 Assumption Thonburi
R-BEC 6-0 Bangkok Christian
Samut Sakhon 2-0 Kasem Bundit
Prachinburi 0-3 Krung Thonburi
Rangsit FC 2-2 Luk Issan

Chamchuri are the early pace setters after their 2-1 victory over Thai Honda made it three wins out of three. The Chuklalongkorn side lead the pack with 9 points and are closely followed by Samut Sakhon, Central Lions and North Bangkok on 7 points. Sitting closely behind on 6 points are R-BEC who announced themselves as the team to keep an eye on after they smacked big brother's tenants, Bangkok Christian, for six without reply.
In the Samut Prakarn local derby, a goal from Sutin earned the local bragging rights for SPK United as they beat Customs 1-0 at the Forza. Nontaburi finally got on the points board with a 0-0 draw at Central. Worryingly for the Eka, their lack of potency in front of goal seems to have carried over from last year. After three matches, Nontaburi's goal tally still equals zero.

Div 2 South
Yala 0-1 Pattani
Nakhon Si Thammarat 1-0 Chumphon
Nara Utd 1-1 Trang
Surat Thani 0-2 Ranong
Hat Yai 1-1 Satun Utd

A goal just before half-time was enough for Nakhon Si Thammarat to win a scrappy encounter with Chumphon 1-0. From what I saw of this game both sides look along way off being anywhere near as good as Krabi and Pattalung were last season.
In the other live SMMTV live game, a goal in each half earned Ranong an opening day win in Surat Thani.
