Wednesday Fixtures

TPL
Chiang Rai Utd v TTM Pichit

Until a few days ago there were half a dozen or so TPL fixtures arranged for tomorrow evening. These aforementioned matches had previously been moved from July. The only fixture to survive the second rejigging was Chiang Rai v TTM. The reverse fixture in Pichit was the first game of this current season and TTM ran out comfortable 3-1 victors. The other fixtures that were supposed to be played tomorrow have now been scattered throughout October, November and December.

Division 1
BBCU v Chainat

The battle of the pinks should be an interesting one at the Royal Thai Army Stadium. In their last six games BBCU have only won twice while Chainat have won 5 of their last 6. Their only defeat was in front of a crowd of 20,000+ down in Songkla. A win for Chainat would move them 3 points behind BBCU and 10 points clear of 4th placed Songkla, although Chainat will have played two extra games.

Toyota League Cup Semi Finals
Pattalung v Thai Port (0-3)
Buriram PEA v Chonburi (1st leg)

Thai Port hold a healthy 3-0 advantage over Pattalung after their clash in Bangkok last week. The TPL side will be set up 4-5-1 and will do what they do best by smothering the life out of the game. I can't see Port scoring many, but on the other hand I can't see them conceding either.
Buriram PEA and Chonburi draw swords again only one month after their now infamous clash in Chonburi. That game was drawn 1-1 and the Sharks would be happy with a similar outcome. Buriram PEA should have fresher legs and will seek to press home that advantage in the first leg.
