JW Rangsit 1-1 Phatthalung

JW Rangsit levelled two minutes from time to snap up a deserved point against Phatthalung.

It was Phatthalung who took the lead on 16 minutes when Supakrit neatly dummied his marker to release Possapat to drill home.

Yawn!!
JW should have been level before the break from Muniz Dos Santos' free header, but the Brazilian headed into the ground and the ball bounced over the bar.

After the interval, the young lads on stretcher duty were kept busy with a host of injuries to attend to.

The Swiftlets could have had a penalty on the hour mark but the referee awarded a free kick on the edge of the box instead.

The Equalizer
Rangsit's pressure was growing as Paul Takem forced Warut to get down quickly to knock his header around the post, and Warayut twice came within inches of connecting to crosses.

Nonetheless, JW did equalize minutes from the end as Ratchanat's cross was flicked home by the bulky Warayut past the rooted Phatthalung keeper.

A point apiece wasn't really the desired outcome as both sides sit in the bottom five. If I'm being honest the game today had a second division feel to it and that's most likely where both will end up next year.

I feel the big lad wearing #27 should be playing another sport :-)
