New Year Results

TPL
Osotspa 0-0 Samut Songkhram
Chonburi 1-0 Bangkok Glass
Police 0-1 Army
Thai Port 1-3 Sriracha
Buriram PEA 1-0 Muangthong

An injury time header from Addo sealed a 1-0 victory for Buriram PEA over Muangthong. The Nontaburi side defended ruggedly at times yet they left Buriram with nothing to show for their efforts as the locals partied the night away.
Chonburi left it late against Bangkok Glass with the only goal of the game coming via a typical Pipob header. The 3 points was enough to ensure that the Sharks finish runners up to PEA.
At the other end of the table, Samut Songkhram moved a place and a point away from TOT in the third relegation position after their goalless draw in Saraburi. An Aron Da Silva hat-trick against Thai Port helped keep Sriracha's faint survival hopes alive while Army ensured another season of top flight football with a late winner against Police in a game which saw both sides finish with one player shy of their full compliment.

Division 1
Raj Pracha 2-2 Songkla
Buriram 5-1 Chainat
Bangkok FC 1-2 Songkla

The last promotion spot was finally BBCU's after Songkla's ambiguous promotion bid fell. Coming into this weekend, Songkla needed to win all three remaining games and then hope that BBCU lost their final match against Air Force. However there will be no last day drama as Songkla drew their first of three 2-2 at Raj Pracha. In spite of that, Songkla did achieve an impressive 2-1 victory at Bangkok FC three days later. That result still leaves the Bulligans in danger of dropping to Division 2. In the other game, Buriram blitzed Chainat with 5 second half goals as the Lava came back from trailing 1-0 at the interval.
