Siam Navy 0-1 Buriram PEA

Buriram PEA’s title quest continued with a narrow victory over Siam Navy in Sattahip.

The picturesque Royal Thai Navy Stadium
It was a typical effective and efficient performance from the Thunder Castle that wasn’t particularly spectacular for the watching spectators.

Franck Ohandza headed home a free kick to give the visitors the lead on the half hour mark.

Navy's best chances fell to Wutthichai, but the front man failed to test Siwarak in the PEA goal.

The victory consolidates Buriram PEA’s position at the top of the TPL, where they lead second-placed Chonburi by 13 points.

Navy remain second bottom, two points outside the safety zone.

Ohandza's goal was his 16th of the campaign and he is now second in the TPL scoring charts behind Chiang Rai United's Wasan on 17.

Attendance: 4,300 - that was according to the official stadium announcement. In my opinion, it should have been higher than that.
