Weekend Preview 24-25 September

TPL
Khon Kaen v Sisaket (Sat)
Osotspa v TOT (Sat)
Thai Port v Buriram PEA (Sun)
Police v Chiang Rai Utd (Sun)
Pattaya v Samut Songkram (Sun)
BEC Tero v Army (Sun)
Bangkok Glass v TTM Pichit (Sun)

There is only one Bangkok side in action on Saturday and that is TOT in Saraburi. They will meet a Osotspa side that are unbeaten in 5 games. TOT have won their last two, but may have to settle for a point in this one.
On Sunday there is a bit more action for the local TPL fan. Thai Port take on Buriram PEA in what could be a dress rehearsal for the Toyota League Cup final next month.
At the Thephasadin, BEC Tero host near neighbors Army Utd who were boosted with the news that top scorer, Leandro, will stay until the end of the season.
Up in Pathumthani there are a brace of games involving Police v Chiang Rai Utd and Bangkok Glass v TTM. Both games are winnable for the Pathumthani sides.
Yet again Muangthong and Chonburi won't be in action as they will be preparing for their AFC Cup quarter final 2nd legs next Tuesday.

Division 1
JW Rangsit v Bangkok Utd (Sat)
BBCU v Songkla (Sat)
Buriram v Customs (Sat)
Raj Pracha v RBAC (Sun)
Chantaburi v Saraburi (Sun)
Phuket v PTT Rayong (Sun)
Suphanburi v Chiang Mai (Sun)
Bangkok v Chainat (Sun)
Air Force v Thai Honda (Sun)

There are a couple of interesting games this weekend. Stuttering BBCC need to beat 4th placed Songkla to ensure their promotion dreams remain on track.  A victory for the team from the south would move them 10 points behind BBCU with two games in hand. Chainat, who beat BBCU during the week, are back in the capital to face Bangkok FC. The Bulligans were buoyed by their 3-0 victory over Air Force last week and that should have injected some confidence into the Bang Mot team.
Bangkok United travel up Vipavadee Road to the Thupatemi Stadium to play an out of sorts JW Rangsit. JW had a promising start to the season but they haven't won in 9 attempts. Another loss for JW Rangsit could see RBAC and Thai Honda close up on them. RBAC are away to Raj Pracha and Honda might be quietly confident of winning at Air Force.

Division 2 (Bangkok)
Globex v Raj Vithi
Prachinburi v Nth Bangkok
NSRU v Thanyaburi Asia Utd
Assumption Thonburi v Nontaburi
Kasetsat v TA Luk Issan
Kasem Bundit v Jamjuree
Samut Prakarn Utd v Thai Fleet
Mapthaput Rayong v Bkk Christian

This weekend sees the penultimate round of fixtures in Division 2 Bangkok. All games take place on Saturday with 4pm kick offs.
With Kasetsart already booking their place in the play offs, it comes down to a head to head between 2nd placed North Bangkok and 3rd placed Samut Prakarn United. The Horsemen currently have 54 points while the Crab Devils are one behind on 53. On Saturday, North Bangkok have a tricky away tie at Prachinburi. Any failure to collect 3 points would give a huge advantage to SPK Utd as they will surely collect 3 points against Thai Fleet.

Midweek Results
(TPL)
Chiang Rai Utd 2-1 TTM
(Division 1)
BBCU 0-1 Chainat
(Toyota League Cup - Semi finals)
Pattalung 1-0 Thai Port (Thai Port win 3-1 on agg)
Buriram PEA 1-0 Chonburi (2nd leg on 1st Oct)
