Calisto: It's Time to Go Go

Muangthong United and Henrique Calisto have parted company by 'mutual consent.' The deal comes two days after Muangthong were knocked out of the AFC quarter finals by Kuwait SC.
Assistant coach, Sarawut Treephan, will take temporary charge of the team against SCG Samut Songkhram tomorrow.
Rumours have already began to surface that Robbie Fowler may be promoted to player-coach. Another name that's been mentioned is Kuwait SC coach, Dragan Talajic. Ex Thailand coach, Peter Reid, could possibly be considered after he was relieved of his managerial duties at Plymouth Argyle last week. Whoever eventually lands in the hot seat, will be the Nontaburi side's 8th manager in the past 5 years.
In my opinion, results under Calisto weren't spectacular, but you could clearly see that there was work in progress. To change the coach now is the wrong decision. I would have given Calisto until the end of the season. The Twin Qilins still have an outside chance of lifting the TPL Championship and the FA Cup.

EDIT: Robbie Fowler has been appointed player/coach until the end of the season.
