Weekend Preview 10-11 March

Kor Royal Cup Final
Buriram United v Chonburi (Sunday)

The Thunder Castle will be bidding to lift their fifth trophy this calendar year. They've already won the TPL, FA Cup, Toyota League Cup and most recently the Toyota Cup when they defeated Japanese outfit Vegalta Sendai after a penalty shoot-out.
Current Kor Royal Cup holders Chonburi qualified for this final due to finishing runners-up to Buriram PEA in the league. Last season the Sharks defeated an uninspiring Muangthong United 2-1 in the Kor Royal final.
Both sides have already kicked off their offensives for 2012 with respective AFC action during the week. Buriram United stunned J League side Kashiwa Reysol in a exciting 3-2 win in the AFC Champions league while Chonburi struck in the third minute of injury time to grab a point as their AFC Cup opener with Yangon United finished 1-1.
This season curtain raiser will be played at the Supachalasai with a 5pm kick off.
